Book worm: Curriculum changes often require the purchasing of new text books.

Bearden offered a new elective class this past year called “Philosophy and Literature” that sought to introduce students to philosophical reflection and an examination of central questions of human existence. In 2018-19, the Foundation awarded funds to purchase new text books for the class that incorporated classical philosophy with contemporary ideas and issues.
